Double-click the rectangle to display the note. In the <span class="T1">Edit Note</span> dialog you can read and edit the contents of the note.</help:default></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC"/><help:default>The structure of the <span class="T1">Edit Note</span> dialog varies slightly from the <span class="T1">Insert Note</span> dialog by the addition of two buttons used to jump between the previous and next note in the document. Naturally, these buttons are only visible after at least two notes have been inserted.</help:default></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC"/><help:default>You can choose to print the notes with your document, either at the end of each page or the entire document. Select this option under <span class="T1">File - Print - Options</span>.</help:default></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC">In a spreadsheet, you can insert your text for a note directly in a pop-up window instead of a dialog. As soon as you click outside the box it will be hidden, and a red square at the top right of the cell appears to indicate a note. To view the note, simply position your mouse over the cell. The note is shown as an extended tip and therefore you need to have activated this function in the menu <span class="T1">Help - Extended Tips</span>. </help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC">To edit a note, click in the respective cell and select the Insert - Note command. If you delete the entire text, the note will also be deleted.</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC">You can choose to print the notes with your document on a separate page after the last sheet. Select the spreadsheet option under <span class="T1">Format - Page - Sheet</span>.</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph">When exporting a document to a HTML page, notes appear as <!- Comment ->.</p>
